Thankfully, I Left Behind the Big Hair

I'm stuck in the 80s. I took this quiz I found at blog daughter Sissy's and came up that I'm stuck in the 80s. OK, there is some 90's influence, but if you look at what I really love, I'm an 80's kinda gal. From Peter Gabriel to REM, oh, throw some Prince in there, I'm all over the 80s. I didn't see INXS or The Smiths as options...

So here is my musical taste, I gather, according to a 5 second quiz. Take it. It's fun. (Jack, that means YOU!)

I love some good 80's music.

Even more...I love some good 80's country (stop laughing!)

I was only allowed to listen to country music for the first 10 years of my life. Some fond memories!

What kind of meaningless quiz is THAT? There's no Celtic music,no bluegrass, no Nora Jones, no Hank Williams, no Copeland, no James Galway. Boo, hiss.

Well, believe it or not, it says that after heavy metal and punk, I'm a 90's kind of guy. Hmmmm.... Let me try to post it. You're not going to believe what one of them was!

Boudicca - I'm apparently solidly stuck in old Rock music, my own self ;-)

heh

Apparently TGOO and I share at least a couple of hemi-demi-semi-quavers.

But to his list (which I second), I'd add, where's Dizzy G? Rammsey Lewis? Or for that matter Bix Beiderbecke? *g* And what's wrong with including some reference to the 3Bs and their kin?

Such a limited listing.

:-)

TGOO, "There's no Celtic music,no bluegrass, no Nora Jones, no Hank Williams, no Copeland, no James Galway" That's because that is timeless classic music. Well... maybe Hank isn't. But the rest is.
