Middle of the Road Kinda Gal

I didn't like some of the questions. I thought they were slanted. Either way, it still made my point.

I tell people, I am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. Yup. I'm a centrist. I cannot stand both parties, although I'm a registered Republican, and wait for a party to come about that speaks to me. That's not going to happen. So I will remain a jaded voter who only votes against who I perceive to be the biggest idiot. I will die never voting FOR someone.

Hat tip to my blog bro Little Joe, from whom I pilfered the link.

Your Political Profile

Hmm, it appears according to this wildly way too general test I'm more conservative then I thought.

Overall: 85% Conservative, 15% liberal
Social Issues: 75% Conservative, 25% liberal
Personal Responsibility: 100% Conservative, 0% Liberal
Fiscal Issues: 100% Conservative, 0% Liberal
Ethics: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal
Defense and Crime: 100% Conservative, 0% liberal.

So what I really want to know is; with the ethics part, are they trying to say one party is unethical? and if so which party? The wording on this quiz was rather biased.

You and I got almost the exact same...even to the percentages.

"So I will remain a jaded voter who only votes against who I perceive to be the biggest idiot. I will die never voting FOR someone." WTG, Bou! Let form the "None of the Above" party and vote ALL the rascals out!

:-)

Incidently, because the "test" is designed (poorly) to place folks within the Left-Right/Liberal-Conservative false dichotomy, it got me 100% wrong. heh

A more useful paradigm is Jerry Pournelle's Political Axes. See

Swiping this- with Credit to you, of course.

Maybe David is conservative and just doesn't want to accept it? :)

I scored nearly identical to you Bou. As you can tell by most everyone elses, that is why I don't discuss politics.

Cute little test, but I wish there were more choices, on some I didn't like either choice and left the question blank. But it still pegged me fairly well.

When I come back to the US and run for office, would you vote *for* me?

:-P
