NOoo... I can't sleep on the ground!

Count'em... two queen sized mattresses in her tent. Her quote (not mine): "I'm not sleeping on the ground. If I'm camping I'm going to be comfortable."

Boudicca cracks me up! She's going to sleep comfortably in an eight man tent with the Rolling Ball of Noise. Ahh... naivete' is such a blissful state.

The key to successful camping: tire those puppies (the kids/boys) out... by farming them off on someone (hub?) to run their legs off hiking, swimming, etc. all day long. Feed 'em big at night (hmmm, turkey jerky for late night snack, drinks laced with melatonin?)and watch 'em konk out.

Of course, it won't work, but just getting 'em good and worn out would be well worth it.

A Queen for a Queen... [she is so busted!]

Melatonin laced drinks? Hmmm, that gives me ideas.

If she is against slipping the kids children's chewable morphine, then I have a recipe for a peach cobbler that just about ever scout I've fed it to loves and it garuntees they go down early. No, there aren't any drugs in it.

My father used to use it on the troop when he was scout master.

I'm not going to sleep on sticks and roots!!! Heh. It's bad enough I got roped into this whole thing! Add a comfortable place to sleep to one of the finer things in life of which I've become accustomed... along with running water and electricity.

Good for you, Bou. Air mattresses are the only way to go. It makes you much a nicer person the day after.
