Florida Blogger Map

Ever wondered where some of us in Florida really live? If you aren't from Florida, you don't know the cities really.

So I've created a little map with the Florida bloggers I know of pinpointed. My only problem is... I'm not exactly sure where some of them are located. I had to guess. My bad.

Feel free to add corrections.

Without further ado, my Florida blogger map, with some commentary, with Wilma in the background, courtesy of Microsoft Paint and the US Navy. Have I mentioned lately how much I love the Navy? Oh yes I do.

You also have Val (Babalu Blog) and Steve (Hog On Lard) down in Miami. What you think I'm going to pass up the chance a line like that in regards Steve?

Pretty close. My Roaddrunner address is Tampa but we live north of Tampa about 70 miles out in the woods from Homosassa Springs. The last projection cone had the northen edge going right thru my front door and out the back. And if comes my way as a cat five it can have the whole place because I will be gone.

You all are in our thoughts and prayers!

Excellent job with the map!

You know you spend too much time reading blogs when...

- A hurricane pops up aimed at your state, and you don't think "Gee, we need to get gas for the generator." Instead you think "Damn, Bou's gonna get smacked again!"

Stay safe.

I'm thinking about you guys A LOT!!! Come north... we're expecting frost tonight, but no hurricanes.

cool map, Bou! we're actually between Orlando and Ft. Pierce on the coast, but close enough.

looks like a lot of us are going to get hit. i think Frank and I will be a lot safer than several of you. be careful!

Great idea, but you missed me. Please add me to you map.

I live in Bonita Springs, half way between Ft. Myers and Naples. I'm less than a mile from the coast, but at an elevation of 16 feet. I hope all of us and all of our homes survive in one piece.

It might be fun for a bunch of us to get together sometime.

I leave town for a few days and you forget me already. Thanks Gramma. Great Map. Now do one for the whole family so I can see where everyone is. Hunker down and be safe.
