Was She Over Exposed?

This is a question for my male readers... or any lesbian readers I might have. No judging here... just a quick question.

Background:

I was living shopping at Toys R Us the other day when I noticed this Mom about my age, but very tall and lean, attractive, a nice body... I am sure my readers who like women would agree... she had that whole flat tummy thing goin' on. She was wearing a pair of low slung jeans... the kind that people shaped like ME should NOT wear.

She knelt down to look at a toy and as I passed by her, looking down to make sure I didn't accidentally step on her hands or anything... I noticed... that TWO INCHES of her butt crack was showing.

Now, ever since I can remember, women have hated it when this happened with men. Women would have conniptions as to how gross it was. It was even called Plumber's crack, which is so derogatory to plumbers. It is pretty consistent across the board... women hate it when men's pants are hanging THAT low that the upper part of their backside is fully exposed when they bend down.

I am sure there are exceptions, but overall, women think its gross.

So here is my question. Do men think this is unattractive for women to expose the same part? Or do they think, "Wellll, heeeelllllooooo therrrre...."

I was just wondering. You know, that whole Mars Venus thing...

Ya just have to pity the poor things. Can't afford to buy clothes that fit properly and all that...

Well...this Mom has been bugging her eldest daughter about the same thing. If she wants to spend the bucks on those low slung jeans she needs longer shirts !!

Next quarter she has welding class... should be interesting as she didn't like the hot shells going down her v-neck shirts at the shooting range.

Ultimately it depends on the butt but as a general rule buttcrack should be avoided. The sexy thing about low-rise jeans is exposing the belly button and the tops of the hips, not arsecrack.

Depends on who is exposing, and how nice it is... *G* The real issue is the underwear being worn or not. On some of the more interesting underwear, I've always wondered if they realized that they were sharing their taste (or lack). It does make it easy for others to answer the burning question of granny, panty, or thong...

First, I hate hip hugger jeans, they are not flattering to a womans figure at all. I don't mind low cut, but the hip hugger ones just distort the shape that is feminine.

That being said, I enjoy looking a nice female arse as much as any man, if not more. However, I don't want to see half of one hanging out of their pants because they are either a)too stupid to realize their pants weren't meant to bend in b) wearing the wrong size clothes or c) have absolutly no sense of decency in a public place.

depends on the size of that crack showing. Some young sweetthings can look hot in a bikini with about half of it showing and some older women don't look bad either. But there are a hell of a lot of women of all ages who look better covered up.

I dropped an ice cube in the right spot one time accidently on purpose while viewing one of these one time. She covered up and I never let on that it was me.

A year ago that was how I dressed - low slung jeans, crop tops - damn I miss that body. BUT - I didn't wear the two together. Ever. My low slungs were worn with a loose long top. No butt crack. EVER. Even now all my slacks sit below the waist - but I do a check before I buy them. I'm not a fan of the "crack view". Ever. No matter how good the body is. But that's just this girls point of view.

Posted by: Tammi at December 23, 2005 08:21 AM

I, too, am not a fan of the crackview. Not that anyone, and I mean anyone, would ever want to see me in those kinds of jeans!

Posted by: Oddybobo at December 23, 2005 08:27 AM

One phrase... crack kills.

That said, I would have to say that I would rather not see someone else's moon. It isn't attractive, and I think that the 'skater' look is much more flattering. I always thought that the less that is shown off, the better. *Being married changed my point of view, but I never did like seeing cracks in public... Some things should be left for the bedroom. lol

Interesting take from the men. I didn't expect this. I know plenty of men that like to see a bit of the g-string that might be exposed with low rise jeans. If they are into tattoos, the lower back tat over the g-string seems to be a fave. I'm of the opinion crack exposure is nasty.

Reminds of a time I was in a faculty meeting...whispering and grading papers, ignoring the drone of another meeting, when a fellow teacher kept trying to get my attention and pointing forward. I thought she was trying to warn me the principal was looking my way. When I finally looked up, the new first grade teacher in front of us was leaning forward in her chair...revealing a lot of her backside...crack, thong and all.....is that what we're teaching our little ones these days???

The butt crack thing doesn't bug me a bit. What bothers me MUCH more about this "style" of clothing is that it often reveals an ugly tatoo back there.

Funny, it seems like lots of them are shaped with a pointed end aiming toward the crack, like we couldn't find it on our own. I don't know who told these ladies that such tatoos were cute or sexy, but it wasn't on my planet.

Well, considerin' the description of the circumstances, I'd just have to vote for "Wellll, heeeelllllooooo therrrre....".

Of course, had the situation been described something along the lines of a Richard Simmons reject coppin' a squat with plumbers crack showin' my vote would probably be different.

I can't believe you didn't at least say "Hey" to Key when you passed. ;)

I asked my husband: "do men think it is gross to see a slender woman's butt crack showing in her pants when she is bending over?" His answer was, "not normally."

Things we learn.

I am going to try and think like a lesbian here, and say seeing someones posterior in a toys r us, is simply bad form hot or not. Seeing someones posterior in a bar whilst one is shaking it...ok...

now I am going to try and think like a man. As long as she is hot, any ass is ok ass.

now I am going to think like a Mom...oh I hope my 4 year old does not say "look at that Moms butt, she is showing her butt Mom, isn't that private!!!"

Posted by: armywifetoddlermom at December 23, 2005 12:47 PM

No! No! No! Gross! Don't wanna see no buttcrack! I don't care how hot the babe! Redneck - Key's gonna kill ya!

Posted by: Denny at December 23, 2005 03:36 PM

A lot of it depends on the person exposing themselves. However, I prefer the female "Plumbers crack" to be accompanied by a thong, but that's just me. This old guy looks for his little thrills where ever he can find them.

Posted by: Uncalarry at December 23, 2005 03:45 PM

All or nothing... that's all I'll say.

Posted by: That 1 Guy at December 23, 2005 04:10 PM

Firstly, she probably wants me. Secondly, shouldn't be showing crack. Looks so trashy. Not that I have a problem with trashy...but still.

Posted by: Toluca Nole at December 23, 2005 05:15 PM

No desire to see any turd slicer action. But that's just me.

Nice knowing ya, Redneck. Imagine you will be buried in an El Camino, or something.

"Wellll, heeeelllllooooo therrrre...."

Posted by: Angus of Movern at December 23, 2005 07:27 PM

I suppose it depends on the time, place, totality of the circumstances, and of course, the butt.

Posted by: Jim - PRS at December 23, 2005 08:01 PM

depends on the ass... and overall hotness of the chix. For the most part it's a no go... but there are exceptions, and it's not necessarily the super-skinny that get the notice. Give me a nice shape with a bit of muscle and ohhhhh my...

Posted by: RSM at December 23, 2005 08:12 PM

Dear Husband and I are discussing this right now.....

DH told me to stop being so judgemental, "perhaps theis lady has just lost a lot of wieght, and really is feeling great about her body..."..."or maybe she is just a whore"....

Posted by: armywifetoddlermom at December 23, 2005 10:19 PM

LOL - Bou how did you know that my husband was just commenting on how much he detests the low hip hugger jeans. First of all he says they just look bad even on girls who have the figure to wear them. Secondly those who are wearing them so the butt crack shows are even worse. Just as I don't find it sexy or enticing when I see it on a man - it's more like.... gross. Well, as usual - the appeal seems to be in the eye of the beholder... I just don't get it.

Posted by: Teresa at December 28, 2005 09:33 AM

You know, if you ask your husband about this you are not going to get an honest answer. Most guys say stuff like "Do I like Jessica Simpson? Hell no. She's hideously skinny. I was just staring at that magazine cover because I can't believe that's what passes for beauty these days. You, on the other hand..."
