Cold Reality

I realized today that hurricane season starts in less than 2 months.

I think I may vomit...

The radio has been reminding us for days. "17 named storms. 9 hurricanes. 47% chance Gulf Coast will be hit."

I checked my water.

Need more food, though.

And our batteries are low.

Loving that fact... not.

Katrina's relatives better not come back through LA this year. We don't need a repeat over here.

One of our columnists just wrote about a couple who already has trimmed out their yard and started stocking up on water and such.

And a couple of friends are VERY happy today. The roofers finally showed up to replace the one Wilma took.... just in time for the next storm season.

Tornado season is in full swing. 355 tornados in the US so far this year. And more in our area tonight. Hello big closet.

Make room at the toilet for me....I don't feel too well now, either.

Not to worry.

Unless you live in Florida.

The cabin is cool in the summer, warm in the winter. And I just got another case of MRE's. They even added a breakfast menu to this year's batch!!!
