BRRRR... It's FREEZING!!!

Holy crap! We’re getting a cold front! I’m to put my sandals away, get out my clogs and brace myself to retrieve my sweaters from the back of my closet!!

It’s… going to get… to… low in the high 50s on Tuesday night and a high in the mid-70s that day!

Say it isn’t so! Fall is here!

Of course it will only last one day. Then we’ll be back in the 80s, but hey, its progress. The last few days have been in the 90s. A sweltering humid awful 90s.

I went walking Sunday morning at 9:30. A mile into I thought, "What in the hell was I thinking... this is why they invented gyms. With air conditioning." It was 80 already with 80% humidity. No more walking until end of November. Bah!

I so miss those four distinct seasons…

68 degrees here, right now! Yessss!

Wind is gusting at 20 mph, humidity is very low, sky clear as a... something clear.

Perfect night to sleep outside if it weren't for the damn Cuban builders hammering on the new condos, across the canal, at quarter til the crack of dawn. Or somebody else...

Supposed to get down into the 30's tonight. I got to break out one of the sweaters my friend Cindy knitted me to wear to the wine tasting tonight. You'll have four seasons when you move to Alabamastan.

Don't worry. My plane leaves at 5:15 Wednesday afternoon. It'll be nice and warm as soon as that sucker takes off.....

50 degrees = heat wave

Hope it won't be too hot when G, the kids & I head down to Orlando for 8 days at the end of December!

50s? Holy cow! I hope you've got your wool socks and heavy coats! You better not let those kids out of the house without a scarf, a hat, and mittens! Better buy the kid's boots 3 sizes too large so you can fit 3 pairs of socks on their feet before they venture outside! Beware of frostbite, too! You might consider and engine heater for your car so it doesn't freeze, either!

42 degrees here in the Garden State this morning (Tuesday), and I did the walk in shorts, tee shirt and a nylon windbreaker. Great walking weather, that.

... I carried the ferns into the garage last night.... we were supposed to get a heavy frost...

Yep, fall has fell. I had to put on my bib overalls and denim jumper this morning when I took my morning constitutional stroll. At least no frost although it is cool for this time of year. But you know the old adage.."When the weather is hot and sultry, that's no time for adultry. But when the frost is on the pumpkin, that's the time for dilly dunkin.

You want 4 distinct seasons? North Carolina or Virgina is the place for you.

Let me play my teeny tiny violin for you... send some of that 50 degree weather up north, will you??
