Notice to America

Dear America-

The Emperor Has No Clothes.

Just needed to be said.

You can drop the cups of kool aid. He's a Chicago politician and as much as you hate to hear it, he really doesn't 'feel what's in your heart'.

You don't register on his radar. Really. Step away from the mirror, quit feeling so self absorbed, and get some therapy as to what happened in your life that you would think some man in Washington DC gives a crap about what you think, how you feel, or whether you can make your mortgage payment. Did Daddy not pay you enough attention?

Move on.

Biggest frickin' snow job I've ever seen and to see so many people falling all over themselves FOR A POLITICIAN makes me nauseous and I lose faith in humanity.

Blech.

Dear President Obama-

You need to remember one thing. While your little girls are all nestled safely away in the finest schools that money can buy, with the highest tech security, everyone being so very vigilent over where they are and making sure they are safe...

... my kids are amongst the general public and if you don't be careful, it is MY kids that will have targets on their backs when it comes to terrorism.

Not yours.

Yours will be safe.

Do me a favor and keep mine safe too.

Keep this is mind as you ponder the fate of the bastards in Gitmo.

Thank you.

Had a conversation today with a person and I thought you would see the humor... it started with GC saying:

My breakfast appeared on my table for me this morning. My car drove itself to work. And I barely have to do anything. Isn't that how it is suppose to work now that we have a new Prez?

great comment. these people have sworn on the lives of their children to destroy us. just imagine what will happen if BHO allows them access to put a truly devasting hit on us. not a 3000 casualty attach. or a 30000 casualty attack. a really big one. i really hope he succeeds. because the other option scares the living hell out of me

This was great. I've been saying it all along, but you said it much better than I ever could. The deification of this man makes me physically sick. Why does it take so much charisma for the left to take notice of someone? Are they really that shallow? Yes. And here I thought people were to be voted into office based on their experience. Wow, was I ever naive!

Seriously, some psychologist somewhere has to be having a frickin' FIELD DAY with this. Some grad student is going to get their PhD on the lemming effect... the Obama Effect.

But hey, why should Americans be immune? Look at Hitler. One of the biggest bastards in the modern world, rose to power, and convinced hundreds of thousands of people that it was OK to slaughter a group of people based on religion.

And they did it... the horrors.

And what we're seeing is how it was possible. No, Obama isn't Hitler, but he has whatever it was that Hitler must've had... that so many people would be falling all over themselves. It absolutely boggles my mind.

And its made me think of all the Non-Jew Germans who were NOT followers, who did NOT fall prey to Hitler's charisma, and how it must've made them nearly insane as they watched what happened to their fellow countrymen.

Not the same... I know... but this is what runs through my head.

Pray for our Country. Obama NEEDS to get this right or the fate of our children is dire straights.

It's that whole cult of personality....

Couldn't have said it better myself. Isn't there more going on in this country that whan Obama did today. Seriously can't wait for something else to become the big news of the day.

When the flowers bloom & the birdies sing & all is once again right with the world, it won't be just because Obama's President.

Gagdad Bob makes an interesting point about the psychosis that compels the left to worship their messiah:

The bottom line, people, is that there is nothing to be afraid of. These men are nihilists. Fucking amateurs. They're out of their element. And they're about to enter a world of pain. As Walter Sobchak himself said, "Nothing is fucked here, Dude. Come on, you're being very un-Dude."

When I say that the Obamanauts are about to enter a world of pain, I mean that they will eventually know the dark side of the wave of fantasy upon which they are riding. Only in this case, it seems unusually dark, for it is the same darkness that currently attaches to President Bush. As much as he is hated, Obama is loved, and for reasons that are equally insane because they are a precise and predictable function of each other.

They say that Obama represents the "longings" of a new generation, but I don't believe that at all. Rather, this is baby-boomer 101, the last gasp of a generation that is fueled by a pathological idealism that is just the other side of its dark cynicism.
